Complex question for you clutch cybrans.

So, a few days ago I found this gem of a cybran guide, it doesnt have much in the way of actual hard unit strategy, but it covers alot of the conceptual differences between cybran and the other factions. The guide can be found here :http://www.supcomtalk.com/2007/03/16/comprehensive-cybran-guide/

Now, my question is this. Using the strategies laid out in this guide (ie. expanding early, enemy harrassment, stealth bases spread out across the map) I come across significant economic problems, I just try to do too much at once to maintain that kind of aggresive expansion while still tech'ing up and building a stand alone economy. Energy is easy, you can sit at T2 indefinitely building T2 power gens all over the map, but I have continuous mass problems, the only solution I know of is T3 Mass fabs, but you need both T3 and T3 power gens to make that work, and I usually take so long to reach that level I get wiped out despite more or less continuous attacks on my enemies resource generation.

This post: How to balance mass production with an aggresively expansionist cybran strategy?

Main thing is the map. I'll post this based on Open Palms.

The Cybran commander should be establishing small firebases to keep a LARGE area defended. This is essential. The next thing is to ensure you have 6 engineers reclaiming to fund mass upgrades/tech upgrades.

Use your speed to build turrets and use gunships/mantis to cover whilst you reclaim and grab as many mass points/reclaimation as you can.
